I'd like to thank the people from the Grambling Fan Forum for including us in their Q & A efforts with Jason Hatcher. Although he made an effort to respond to many, he was not able to respond to some of the questions submitted.
However, I was informed that he will continue to take questions, so you all can continue to post more questions in this thread...and I'll submit them to him.

Q:Could you please explain the difference between a preseason game and your first regular season game and after all was said and done , how well were you prepared for it?
A: The only difference is the speed of the game. I think i was very prepared for it.
Q:Would you be opposed to playing some Linebacker if the situation arose and how do you think you would handle that position?
A: Yes. i think i would handle it well.
Q:Hello Jason. Do you feel the Cowboys defense is an aggressive, attacking defense, and why?
A: Yes i think we are a very aggressive defensive, yes i would say we are a very aggressive and attacking defense, because we send pressure alot.
Q:Jason, this question isn't about you necessarily, but about one of your teammates. When Greg Ellis was making the switch to OLB at the beginning of Training Camp, it seemed like everyone was really rooting for him. His being elected defensive captain. Would you care to shed some light on the situation.
A: I think Greg deserve everything that come to him, because he's a great person and player, and the most important thing he's a man of God.
Q:Also, who would you say are the primary leaders fn the defense, by being vocal or by example?
A: Greg Ellis, Brady James, Terrance Newman
Q:How do you feel about your play this far this season?
A:I think its been good so far
Q:I know you are expecting your third child. When is the due date?
A:January 1st, 2007
Q: Have you and your wife found out if it's a boy or girl yet?
A:No, we prefer to wait until she has it.
Q: Has your family adjusted well to living in the big city?
A: Yes we are adjusting very well.
Q: I hear you played basketball in high school. Did/do you have any basketball skills?
A: Yes I was real good in basketball.

A: *******, killsometime, nike, and of course GramblingStateUniversity.com
Q: About how many minutes per game are you getting so far?
A: I really dont know how many minutes, but I'm getting about 25 plays per game.
Statement: I think it very big of you to take time during football season and come back to reply to fellow gramblinites on this board. Good luck in the league and keep in touch.
A: No problem. thanks
Q:You get hazed at all during training camp?
Anly thing I have to do is buy dinner for the defensive line before every game.
Q:Who do you see as the leader of the defensive line?
A:Greg Ellis

Q: You can practice all sorts of moves, train your speed and power, but when you're in a game situation, what one aspect is most likely to let you beat your man and get to the QB?
A:my non stop effort
Q: How are you adjusting to having Parcells as your coach? I'm pretty sure he's different, more vocal to be precise, than any coach you've ever had, so what's that like playing for him?
A:Its been good playin for him, because his coaching style doesn't let you accept being average.
Q: How many of your current teammates had heard of your hometown (Jena, La)? Congrats from a fellow Gramblinite and "neighbor" from Sicily Island, La.
