I am not sure if there is a rookie mini camp this season. They are trying for mini camps for the players in late May but are still negotiating with players union who want everything virtually.

• Late May-early June: Beginning of organized team activities (OTAs)
• Mid-June: Mandatory minicamp begins
• July 15: Deadline to negotiate a multiyear extension on a tagged player

• Early August: Preseason begins with Cowboys vs. Steelers in Hall of Fame Game (Canton, Ohio)

The contract is there, it is only the lazy NFLPA trying to stop players from doing voluntary workouts. They can't change the mandatory mini camps. They wanted it all virtual again. But I don't see that happening. That is a change of the contract. The owners will not approve the change.

They want players not to show up for OTA's as well. If players skip anything (as in person, not visual) that helps makes the team gel, gets them all on the same page before TC. I would question if they really want to play or not, or just collect a check. And yes, there will be excused absences.

Seems most Dallas players want to show up form them showing up at the Star to work out on their own.
