Any one else here believe if TW keeps producing like he is for the rest of the season, he will be in contention for the ROY award?Unfortunately if geno smith keeps winning games there going to give it to him.

24 Receptions
380 Yards
Average 15.8
54.3 yards per game
3 TDs

He is ranked 68th for receptions (that includes WR, TE and RBs)
He is ranked 3rd in receptions among rookies (Tavon Austin is 1st with 29 and DeAndre Hopkins is 2nd with 28)

He is ranked 41st in Yards (that includes WR, TE and RBs)
He is ranked 2nd in yards among Rookies (DeAndre Hopkins is 1st with 416)

He is ranked 25th in average per catch (that includes WR, TE and RBs) I also narrowed this one down to at least 10 catches as there were a bunch of players listed with 1 or two catches that really messed up the rankings...if adding all of those he would be 55th.
He is ranked 3rd among rookies (1st Kenny Stills 19.8, 2nd Mike brown 18.3). Again this is with at least 10 receptions

He is ranked 56th in yards per game (that includes WRs, TE and RBs)
He is ranked 3rd among rookies. (1st Mike Brown 61.3, 2nd Jordan Reed 59.6)

He is ranked 23rd (tied among many) in receiving TDs
He is ranked 3rd among rookies. (Joseph Fauria 5 TDs, Kenbrell Thompkins 4TDs)

If we narrow all of these down per rookies

It would seem that you could argue DeAndre Hopkins, Mike Brown and our own T.Williams would be in the running for Rookie of the Years if we go by receiving stats (Receptions, yards, ypg, avg and TDs).

However this does not include QB(s) Like Geno Smith for the yets.
Nor does it include RBs like Bernard from Cincy.

He would have to be an absolute monster the rest of the year...I'd bet that, even though he's been a turnover machine, Geno is going to get it.

At this rate I think the OROY will either be Eddie Lacy, Gio, or T.Williams. Geno can go take a hike along with his coach. :D

I could see it happening, but it's going to be tough to beat Geno if the Jets finish above. 500.

That would be quite the joke if he did. He's done pretty good to get the Jets to 4-3 but his numbers are pretty putrid.

It's a QB driven league, you know that. It's the same thing with Romo, he probably gets too much credit when we win, and too much of the blame when we don't. If they finish above 500, Geno will get too much credit.

Eddie Lacy will probably win it because he's going to have a ton more opportunities with all the injuries the Pack have accumulated. TWill & Keenan Allen have been the best 2 WR's in this rookie class & both were 3rd rounders with 1st round potential.

I would also like to throw Fredbeard's name out there for OROY. Fredbeard has been just as good and valuable so far as TWill imo. Of the OL picked in the 1st round (Fisher, Joekel, Lane Johnson, Cooper, Warmack, Fluker, Pugh, Long), has any been better than Fredbeard?

I have RB Bernard on my fantasy team. He hasn't done squat so far. Not sure where all this Bernard praise is coming from.

Maybe?

Geon Smith Sheldon Richardson, Star Lotululei, Eric Reid, Deandre Hopkins, Keenan Allen, Tyrann Mathieu, Eddie Lacy, and Giovanni Bernard have all been good.

But I think the only guys that have a great shot are the ones I bolded-- Defensive players have to be absolutely outstanding to get recognition, and Hopkins, although playing on the same level as Williams so far, will likely finish the year on a losing team.

Smith probably gets ROY if they keep winning, because he's a QB, then I think it's Lacy and Bernard battling for OROY.

Allen and Williams are pretty much dead even at this point.

Don't worry, Geno won't keep producing. He sucks.

Huh? I have him too, and he's been excellent. He's the 13th-best RB in PPR leagues, 12th in standard leagues (a bit lower in reality because he hasn't had his bye yet, but still).
