Rookie UDFA WR Traeshon Holden is coming for heads

Eh, there’s holding on to something you want to believe based on emotions and then there’s preponderance of the evidence.
This was a weak receiver draft, even more so in one’s who could play outside receiver. The position was picked over thoroughly and then picked over again. You then wonder can the entire league miss an outside guy who’s 6’2 and played in college for 5 years at both Alabama and Oregon. You then look at the scouting reports on him (again 6’2) and he has trouble beating press coverage along with lacking acceleration out of his breaks a doesn’t track the ball very well!
Honestly I don’t think this guy is capable of even threatening Brooks for a roster spot.
He looks more like someone at the bottom end of the practice squad that you hold onto for camp body for a season or 2 and then move along!
Some guys have the capability to get much better from this point forward, and you’ve gotta strive to find those types, but you’re in no way wrong.

How many need to get hurt before this guy gets any shot whatsoever even if he completely balls out in camp?….but again, teams need to have guys like him around. I’d rather have them come from a program like Oregon than some division 47 deal.

These guys come around every year, fans get excited over YouTube highlights, and rarely pan out. Just the way it is.

Actually, I’d probably feel a bit more optimistic that something had been missed if he had come from a smaller school (Miles Austin ex)… just hard to imagine the whole league missed something concerning a 6’2 WR who spent 5 seasons at Alabama and Oregon!

EVERY year, all teams miss out on a great player that went undrafted. Every year.
Right,
And it’s usually because of measurables, or college injury, or small school etc.
Again hard to imagine the entire league lost the film and missed on a 6’2 WR who spent 5 seasons between Alabama and Oregon!

Good point.

Yeah, he might even erase Brice Butler from our heads!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I guess it’s more wishful thinking than anything else to hope Holden jumps out of the pile of jags Dallas has to snatch the WR2 position. This is all we can hope for since the FO didn’t draft one or trade for one. Jerry just blowing smoke up in the arses of fans as usual.

Odds are against Holden though. Expect to hear a plethora of rave reviews in camp. Just like all these other jags got.

Anyone remember a guy named Cory Fleming?

Who else besides me fell for that one?

It happens.
