Rookies playing major roles

Bland struggled at outside CB in the preseason.

Great preseason at Nickel CB (covering slot WRs).

Not trying to argue you that youre being contradicting...but a few days ago when Lewis went down you said(believe it was you) that Joseph or Bland would play CB and Brown move to Slot.

I believe Brown used to play slot plus he is a seasoned vet and its a hard position. I assume Brown would be more ideal at slot over Bland?

Dallas ability to draft is closing in on unrivaled.
Even the guys they cut often go to other NFL teams and make rosters.
This is a deep roster and a good but imperfect one.

what can they say, they like their guys. lol

Cowboys organization has done a very good job of getting young draft picks in who are contributing to this team

Almost seems like The Cowboys FO can afford to pay a decent bus driver and put talent around the driver.

Almost seems like having a Tom Brady isnt the only way to win a Championship.

Almost like there are 3 dimensions to Football...you need 22 decent starters on each side of the ball and more players for depth.

Almost like having a Good Scouting department is more important than a Generational QB.

Almost to the point that a good scouting department is insurance to paying a bus driver.

Almost like spending 10+ drafts striking out on finding a Brady is a fools game and finding a serviceable QB and putting players around him is easier.

Where the "anti-pay players" or "Dak-haters" posters at?

Did I win?

I love this team because they’re young and they’re smart
It was the team plan to build a consistent winner this way and the plan is beginning to bare fruit as teams like the Rams are going the opposite direction. The Cowboy plan is solid and they have put themselves in an excellent position.

This is good to see. A decade ago or so it seemed the Cowboys always had talented key starters but weak links/depth behind injured players was a critical weakness.

This thread getting pushed off the front page lol.

Winning!

It is just funny that some don't understand the point of the thread and go off in another direction.
youre claiming he's played a major role, when in fact, hes barely even played, 52 snaps -- all season. 52. He's a major contributor tho....

My bad everyone, I didnt realize Tolbert had 4 total yards this season, dudes been a complete beast

We joke about it but because we draft well, "we like our guys" and don't make trades that involve giving away high draft capital.
