Well, their linebackers were getting exposed anyways, prior to this injury. It seems like the Patriots are trying to shuffle the LBs around because of it. Chad Brown is freakin' 36. Man, they got some old LBs.
He (Colvin) was perhaps their most versatile defensive playmaker however.

It is about the equivalent of Dallas losing Greg Ellis.

Holy crap! I thought Chad Brown was out of the league years ago!

Didn't he used to play for the Seahawks?

They will feel that.

Yes they will..

BUT.... they are the masters at filling holes with nobody's

I feel they were just piling on because of the opportunites on offense and opposing teams failure to produce on offense.

Limit the Pats offensive plays/drives... AND WE ARE IN!

ONE FOR THE OTHER THUMB BABY!

Yes - posted in NFL zone
This will start to hit media outlets tonight

Once it's in NFL Zone, it's officially buried. Patriot's fans are trying to spin it like it's no big deal. I'm sure we did the same when Greg went down. They have proven that they can adapt to injuries. Something had to give sooner or later.

Just not sure why a Patriots story is in the Cowboyszone fan forum.

Makes sense. Wasn't he teammates in Seattle with a LB from Buffalo or GB - Bryce Paup?

Edit: Nevermind. It was GB then Buffalo and then a few more teams before he left the league. Nothing to see here.

Colvin is out for the season. So what? Last I checked, he didn't play offense.

I don't see a team on the Pats schedule capable of keeping pace with their offense. So maybe they allow a few more scores on defense, but the Steelers, Ravens, Dolphins, Jets and Giants don't have the offenses to keep up with New England.

Now in the Super Bowl that may be different. But still, that offense is potent and should be able to overcome the loss of Colvin.

That's what everyone thought about the Eagles too. I think most people would agree that the Steelers and Giants are much better than the Eagles with a backup QB.

He was born July 12, 1970, so actually he's 37.

He was teammates with Levon Kirkland in Pittsburgh and Seattle.
