Root for Eagles this week?

So if there was a scenario where the eagles had to beat a team for the Cowboys to be in the playoffs, then youd still hope the eagles lose?

Nope. I can not and will not root for the Eagles.

The only exception to that rule would have to be the one jwitten mentioned above where an Eagles win helped us make the playoffs.

Even then I'd feel really dirty that we got in with help from those bums.

Let the Giants win. We beat them and we're only half a game back and Phi is at 2-4. Beat Philly and it puts them at two more losses than us making it a two team race.

It really doesn't matter who wins... let's just be happy that one of them has to lose. Now if the Giants were 5-0 and the Eagles were like 1-4... then we should cheer for Filthadelphia. But it's all so close and we play both of them one more time this season. So handle our business and it won't matter.

No. Not necessarily. You have to think big picture. If the win does nothing for the Eagles, then obviously I hope they win.

But I'd take the deal right now that the Cowboys will never win another Super Bowl if it means the Eagles never win their first.
