I dont have much respect for people who refer to others who express differing opinions as "cryers"

Sometimes there isn't another word for it.

I can guarantee you that Micheal Irvin is wearin T.O's *** out right about now... "Quit playin T.O., you better take your tail to Dallas"

Sign me up! I just do not like the idea of T.O. being a Cowboy. I seriously hope that all these whispers are a smokescreen to mess with Philly and other suitors.

Hypothetically. It is possible that Dallas has no interest in T.O....however the illusion of interest can still be a help to T.O. and Rosenhaus. By allowing Rosenhaus this advantage, it helps us in future dealings with Rosenhaus.

You may say, "But really how does this help Dallas? Rosenhaus will always do what's best for his clients, any little favor by Dallas won't make him cost a player of his money."

While this is true, fostering good relations with agents is usually a good thing, and in truth, creating this illusion does not hurt Dallas in any way...except for the indigestion I am suffering.

And in the end, I would prefer a few more days of concern to the alternative.

Yes I do know that this is a BIG stretch. But this is a complicated poker game here. We do not know what is going on. All I can do is make suppositions on what I HOPE is happening.

Well were gonna need T.O whether people like it or not because its looking very likely that Key will be released. What are we gonna go into the season with Crayton and Glenn as starters with Copper and some rookie as backups, PLEASE!!! we might as well not even try to pass this year. J/K but were gonna suck on our Passing O if we go in with those guys

this "simple math" gets to me.

last year we lost 1 player who up until the point of his not being here we all considered him average to a little better, but still a penalty waiting to happen at the wrong time. he went and our entire line just fell apart? well, that's the story from on high and the one most people buy - however, i don't.

flo was never good enough to where his injury and his injury alone would turn the entire line to synola. i view the injury as a scapegoat for a more or less bad line.

now, allen could be gone and we're replacing a pro bowler, hall of fame, ring of honor player with some kozher dude no one has ever heard of except tagged as a sleeper in a weak FA class. OL takes a hit and isn't as good already. a year of "gel'ing" and petitti steps it up, we could at this point be ALMOST as good as last year. now if flo goes out again, are we sunk again?

sorry, but it takes more than 3 "positions" on a field to get to the superbowl and the warm fuzzies that can come about by the TO+blah+blah=superbowl and great - say it all day long. anyone with a leg in reality knows that it's not that simple.

i don't care about who else we sign, if we don't fix this line we're toast.

Well said.

Things I took from your post I'd like to clarify and dispute to a minor degree.

Flo's injury actually did hurt us quite a bit. It's not entirely a scapegoat situation here. Having Flo in there (despite the ill-timed penalties) really did allow us to cover some of our other deficiencies. Once we lost that, it went to hell.

But here's where we agree, we need to have situation where we don't have those deficiencies to being with. That was the problem. Our OL was a house of cards to begin with.

Rivera being hurt+Rogers busting+LA getting tired+Petititi being thrown in there+Johnson essentially being a rookie+Flo getting hurt is what killed us.

Bottom line, we need another OL guy in FA. I still think Fabini is it. Living in NY, I've heard plenty about him. He's pretty darn good. Plus, I think LA is gonna stay around another year.

Now if we have Fabini here's the outlook.

LT=Flo, Kosier, Tucker
LG=Allen, Kosier, Peterman
C=Gurode, Johnson
RG=Rivera, Kosier
RT=Fabini, Pettite, Kosier

Maybe it's not great, but there's is a variety of ways this can go together. It gives us options. Of course, this doesn't include any other draftees, so things could change, but we are on the way to improving our line. We are not done, but at least we are moving in the right direction.....i think.
