I liked it, but a lot of it seemed to be forcing issues into the script....and a lot of them.
It was as if she wanted the show to be socially relevant to everyone on the planet.

That said, I think once the novelty of said issues blends into the characters, the show will get more natural feeling.

Agreed.

Loved many of the original shows, but the first two of this run were clunky.

I am not a TV sitcom fan, especially when they fall into the formula that TV created. I didn't watch this as I didn't watch her initial one because I met her in LA on a business trip and I would have thought someone who looks like that and has one of the most irritating voices would have been nicer to people. I was around her for about an hour and a half and could tell from the eggshell treatment she was getting from those that know and work with her that she was a handful.

I did like her stand up as I did like Seinfeld's better than his show too. TV sitcoms lead with their best stuff in the proms and if that's all they've got, I'd rather fold laundry.

I don't like any performers that go beyond what they do for a living. In fact, I don't want to know their political affiliations or leanings at all. I feel it is arrogant to attempt their influence beyond their effect as a performer, but that's just me and I am sure I am in the small minority.

I didn't watch every minute but I agree. I was entertained enough by what I saw but I said in another thread had a pilot feel to it.

The first 4-5 seasons of the original run were hilarious. The humor was smooth and nothing seemed forced. I find it a much funnier show than say "2 1/2 Men" which seemed to be pretty much bathroom or bedroom humor.

I will not watch that crap show for reasons that can not be discussed here

Watched it and thought it was good but not great. Still better than 99% of the other "sitcoms" on currently with the fake laugh track and the oh so predictable jokes you can see coming a mile away.

Roseanne reboot was easily the best reboot of all the shows...man i laughed for a good hour.

Abs has already renewed it. Plus Fox is considering rebooting Last Man Standing with Tim Allen.

‘Roseanne’ Renewed by ABC

Lol, me too. I follow her on Twitter. She said tonight's episode she gets "the chair". I replied to one of her tweets and I received a "like" from her. I was ALMOST as excited as 'Nova winning the Championship.:p
Who cares abour Boooresanne. I want a Seinfeld show, a few new ones, a reunion, something.
You should care because Seinfeld was a "spinoff" from Roseanne. Roseanne was a stand-up comic who then went on to have her own show. She then helped Seinfeld get his show.

Like her or not, her ratings are through the roof.... AGAIN.:D
