Miller is more explosive.

Charbonnet is more proven as a receiver and blocker.

I had Kincaid as TE 1 and I said Laporta is closer to Mayer if not better than him as a prospect then people think.

Witten was a 3rd rounder. Day 2 is where Mayer belongs and the NFL agreed with me.

The Colts drafted a TE in the 1st that was 1x pro bowl and 1x all pro.

Witten was 11x pro bowl and 4x all pro.

The Colts should have drafted Witten in the 1st.

Witten is just in a long list of TEs that proves you don’t need to use a 1st on this position.

Especially with all of the first round busts or jags at the position.

Mayer was a risk in round 1. He’s ok to take now.

I’m fine with Johnson but I need someone to block for him first and foremost.

Get me Avila or Torrence at 58 and I stamp an A on this draft at that point.

Am I the only one wondering why there isn't more buzz about this guy? He has EVERYTHING you'd want in a back to come in and compliment our $10M RB and to potentially take over next year if/when we let Pollard walk because he's become too expensive.
Measurables are great, he averaged more yard per carry than Bijan Robinson. He's my RB over anyone else left, with Tank and Zach Evans right behind him.

Unfortunately Dallas was a playoff team last year and the draft position for those teams are the bottom end, which means they probably need to reach a round earlier than other teams to get someone. If Dallas picks someone in the 4th that means they're on the fringe of being a 5th rounder.
