The Cowboys waived/injured TE Connor Hamlett and WR Javontee Herndon today and signed TE M.J. McFarland and WR Corey Washington.

According to Bleacher Report, they also plan to cut LB Lucas Wacha. His replacement could be rookie CB John Green of UConn; who recently tweeted this:

I'll take "Guys who will still not make the 53" for $500 Alex.
:lmao:
Hey, I'm sure they're thrilled any way, but Im with you Chris.

I am familiar with Corey Washington--assuming its the same guy who had a gig in NY.
Not a "total" slouch...still no chance.

Joseph Jones is the UDFA
we should be watchibg. I'm afraid numbers might get him but he will not make it through waivers.

He has flashed and has good athleticism. He's a bit smallish at 5'11-3/4", 231.

Teams don't go crazy about developmental 4-3 LBs so I wouldn't be too worried.about him making it to the practice squad.

Good teams will lose some decent players at the cut date. The Cowboys are a good team, IMO.

3/4 of our corners are down with hamstrings so not surprising we are bringing another one in

i wonder if all these corners with hamstrings will play sooner rather than later they sure need some playing time for the young guys

I wonder what his plan will be when he is cut.
You want the real answer even though it will sound like a sarcastic one? He will say, "it's all part of the process, i have to struggle before I make it" all that jazz that 90% of college athletes say when the can hack the professional level.
