Lucky Whitehead - His boneheaded decisions kept him at home. I think this had an impact. Kickoff returns were not crisp and the Jet Sweep look is important part of our offense. It gets the opponent Defense moving and is perfect for our RPO Offense. Will he get his spot back? I think so.

DMC - Is he a better option than Dunbar? I think so. Dunbar showed me nothing the last few games. Is he better than Morris? Not sure. Morris is sure handed and slow footed but can bang if needed. DMC is probably best suited to replace Dunbar

Collins or Tapper? Lael may not be game-day active. But I like him as the extra OL rather than Looney in the jumbo package. Those images of him downfield destroying people are stuck in my head. Not sure if Collins would replace Looney on the active roster, because he is a Tackle. The defense played well last night and had pressure. Would Tapper help? Hes been out so long, would he even be able to help, or is he so rusty its not worth a shot?

I hope that they will at least deactivate Dunbar and let McFadden take over his role. Because Dunbar has literally done nothing.

Lucky hasn't done much either, but I think he's relatively valuable as a threat on the jet sweep if nothing else

The Dunbar thing is a complete mystery to me.

They bring him in because they think he's a dangerous 3rd down option... and then he blocks 95% of the time.

Interesting to see if we get Collins snaps at OT. I expect he's better than Cleary there by a good stretch

I dont get the man crush Jerry has on Dunbar. What ever he sees, I dont.
:laugh:I hear you.
But it's not Jerry who decides when and where to play Dunbar. Those are Linehan and Garrett decisions. They must like him too.

I hear and agree with you guys on DMC but something tells me it won't happen. Damn shame...he has fresh legs and a big body. Dunbar is brutal.

Yeah Dumbar is a waste of a roster spot. They don't use him enough or at least make him a weapon to keep him here.

SMH at anyone who thinks they are getting rid of Dunbar. They love Dunbar. They absolutely love him....

If you are bringing in DMC to replace Dunbar than you should be doing it because you think DMC is a better option as a RB coming out to catch passes out of the backfield.

Otherwise there is no use to bring in DMC unless you plan on him replacing Alfred Morris.

But that is just my opinion.

I don't think the coaches see DMC and Dunbar as the same type of RB so I don't see why they would replace one with the other.

Both Whitehead and Dunbar should be released, McFadden brings more to the run game than Dunbar...

As for punt and kick returns...I'd put Dez back there for the remainder of the season, and then seriously address it in the offseason.

I think they are changing protection at the line of scrimmage, forcing Dunbar to stay in and block

If this game was the audition to give Dunbar more snaps he failed miserably.....he was useless out there and took way too many snaps from Zeke

Don't fall for the rest Zeke nonsense.....he is 21 years old

Well that's happening A LOT, so maybe teams are doing what they're doing, knowing we've put a lesser player on the field and then are going to make him block anyway.

It's not smart coaching.

I don't see why McFadden and Dunbar couldn't practice the whitehead role. With the receiving ability of our backs I would like to see a couple two rb formations down the stretch as a new wrinkle to gameplan for
