The keeping of two QBs was being discussed earlier, and this came to mind as a potential roster loophole. Does anyone know if it would be possible?
As we all know, you can only dress 43 (i think it's 43, hehe) players for each game off of your 52 man roster. But you actually dress 44, because the 3rd QB doesn't count against the game roster.
Would it be possible to designate, say Patrick Crayton, as your 3rd QB (since he was once a QB) and have him considered the 3rd QB for roster reasons, and still play WR?
My gut says there's got to be a check against this, but I'm wondering.
