Roster Size at this time of the year?

What is the exact limit on the Roster size as of today?

The limit is 90 players during training camp. Is it 90 now, or is it lower. The Cowboys currently have about 69 players on the roster.

They have to cut down to 75 during the third week of the preseason.

And most importantly the top 51 rule still applies.

I expect the roster to get filled out during the UDFA signing period. If you can recall the team is allowed to hold a rookie mini-camp after the draft which can include certain PS players (I forget the exact criteria)

This has been in effect since last year...whether the team chooses to fill the roster with the 90 players is their decision.

Yes, I've seen that article, but since the rule wasn't passed until April 23 last year, I was not 100% that the 90 player limit went into affect immediately after the season was finished or if there was a lower limit in the interim.

We had 90 players on the roster in the offseason/preseason last year.

I'm not sure on the exact date but I can only assume that once the league year is officially over that is when teams are allowed to fill the 90 slots.
