Actually, White Sands did have some involvement. Not necessarily with the UFOs but White Sands was involved with Goddard and LANL in that the early guidence systems for many of the devices that were being developed were done at White Sands.

However, I don't think that it was Aliens who did it so it's pretty much a dead end after that point I would imagine.

White Sands was a regular test and bombing range until the nuke boys lit things up at Trinity. It was after WW2 when they brought V2's to fire there that it really got used by the missile crowd. Goddard never had anything to do with White Sands itself.

That means that they had figured out how to engineer a human prior to 1930.

"UFO" still leaves open the possibility that it was something ordinary or something unfathomable or anything in between. This story doesn't. i'll stick with "UFO".

That story sounds like someone slopping a bunch of names together to make something sensational. Guess it worked....
