Rotoworld; Tyron Smith reportedly bulked up to 315

I got to believe he was working on his weight all year; and that USC did not bother to change what was listed. For him to gain 35 lbs of muscle in just 4 months....

I just hope its not roids.

Its either roids or twinkies. I dont think there is any testing going on now, so it could easily be some kind of PE substance.

Is he running again after the knee rehab?

His Pro day will tell us if its roids or fat.

He's probably got a belly full of food and he is retaining water like crazy.

I wouldn't be surprised if he has added some muscle too.

But the guy is probably pounding out 5000 calories a day at least.

Frankly, anyone who thought his frame couldn't easily and quickly add weight is an idiot. He could add 40 lbs. of blubber and still have less body fat % than the other top prospects in the draft.

I would hope we don't draft Tyron Smith if Fairley is there.

I think I would vomit.

why, Fairley i doubt could play 3-4 de any better than what we have, he's a prototypical 4-3 dt imo

This is just my pure opinion, but I'm basing it on my best judgement.

Dallas would not hesitate to draft Tyron Smith over:

Nick Fairley
Da'Quan Bowers
Robert Quinn
Prince Amukamara

That leaves three players:

Patrick Peterson
Marcell Dareus
Tyron Smith

Dallas would be wise to anchor at 9, and take Smith, a blue chip, cornerstone player in their offensive line for the next 12 years.

The Boys have enough offensive skill players but needs an above-average OL to EVER sniff the SuperBowl. With high picks in every Rd in this DRAFT, we need to get young and powerful and quicker in the OL and a runstopper at NG. To draft any other players (except for maybe Patrick Peterson) would be extremely unwise. With Rob Ryan on-board and an entire offseason to pickup young Defensive beef from Free Agency, we need to focus on:

1st RD - OT
2nd RD - OG
3rd RD - NT
4th RD - Inside LB or CB
5th RD - CB or Inside LB
6th RD - Safety
7th RD - BPA
7th RD - BPA
