Pardons really knows how to sack the QB and not get the penalty . Textbook . He’s a sound tackler , football player .
I meant Parsons
Very smart, sound football player for sure.

One thing i'll say about this team....not as stupid as in years past. If it all. Rarely beat themselves. I still can't get that nasty taste out of my mouth of Gregory just going full stupid in the playoffs last year.

KJ has his moments on ST but it was nice to see him down a punt at around the 2 . Good for him .

To me this penalty is even more controversial up for interpretation then any NFL penalty currently on the books . PI might be second but usually that’s clear cut either the DB did or he didn’t .

In Monday’s game Dak was on the receiving end of a roughing the passer and honestly it looked tame . His feelings may have been bruised but when the flag was thrown he brightened up . It’s gotten to the point where i see a defensive player lighten up on a hit while the QB still has the ball it’s bizarre .

Did the refs ever say if it was the head contact or body weight? Personally I thought it was the guy in the ground that went for his knees. The Carson Palmer rule

You talking about Brady’s slide tackle?
The play I'm remembering he was in the rapidly collapsing pocket. A d-lineman was on the ground and trying to crawl up Brady's shins to take him down. Brady got the ball out before he went down.

Yes the roughing the passer penalties have gotten too soft. The one on Dak was a legit call based on the rules but I hate the “weight on the QB” rule.

Notes from the 2022 NFL Rule book...

(1) When in doubt about a roughness call or potentially dangerous tactic against the passer, the Referee should always call roughing the passer.
right romo would have had a longer career with these rules.. 2 plays he got hut the worse, the defender purposefully pinned his arm and landed with full weight onto romo, IMO one was intentional to cause an injury..

I don't like the roughing calls now days but Tampa player came down full weight on Dak. I would have been pissed if that had been called on cowboys defense. But it is the rule.
Bad call and he didn’t land with all his weight Deion didn’t think it was but I know what does he know. These calls are bad and have a effect on the game, the one against Cousins was the worst I have seen in a long time

I think that was against the Giants. Separated shoulder?

Touching Brady.....attempt at Humor that missed. Cant win em all
Oh. Okay. I am a bit slow I guess. I have never seen Parsons make a kill shot on a QB. Or any player. He just makes ordinary tackles without unnecessary violence.

The dude was applying his whole weight on Prescot as he was being sacked, can't do that anymore.

There have been times when QB's took advantage of the rules to act as if they are going down, only to suddenly pull away and resume the play.

The 9ers take one cheap shot at a qb every single game. When they do that I assume and hope we alligator role purdy.

I thought the call was for the lineman going low on his legs.
