Routes and play calling

Yeah the whole team operation is just ****.

Blow it up. Sell it to Iran. It can’t get worse than this.

Feels like we’re living 2024 as 2017 Browns fans.

It’s was ugly. The end ravens wanted to pressure and kil them .. They found out real quick that you don’t want to do it.

Big problem is the protection. You simply can't run a lot of 3 second routes and longer developing plays on a regular basis when your QB doesnt have a consistent 3 seconds to throw. The Cowboys dont have a run game that teams fear to keep them honest. The Cowboys dont have an OL that can hold up consistently without keeping extra guys in to block, and they dont have a 2nd receiver to put pressure on the defense in order to keep extra guys in to block.

How many slants or short routes are they going to run? Don’t they have medium route tree? Offensive play calling isn’t good.
You have to protect the QB if you are going to throw it down field.

How many penalties and pressures did the oline have today?

It’s a very predictable and stale offense. The coaching staff certainly isn’t making it any easier for the players.

This should be no surprise. We are still running the Jason Garrett offense. Ray Lewis said after the 2008 beatdown at the last game at Texas Stadium, that the Dallas offense was the most mundane, vanilla offense they have faced. Garrett was the OC there. He then became the head coach. Kellen Moore then became the OC. It's now Mike calling the plays from that same playbook and gameplan.

Dallas offense never gets their players moving up the field. Majority of our completions, the receiver's is standing still on curls or heading towards the sideline on an out. Neither have real good chance to get any YAC.

We occasionally chuck up long passes that have zero chance. Most the time, it seems Dak is chunking up there in prayer mode, hoping something happens. The receiver isn't open and the ball is off target anyways.

This offense stinks. Defense is as bad or worse. We are right back to the dark days of the first half of the 2000s.

That's your HC!

Nothing changes until he's fired.
Honestly with the talent level on this offense do you really think anything will change with a new HC? I'm just not sure this team has the horses to replicate what they've done offensively the last few years.
