He's going to L.A. to cover the Clippers for Clippers.com after this Texans game. He talked about it on the Break today. He's only 24 so he's moving up the ladder quickly. Good luck to him, good guy.

I like the kid, he had some good insight on the team. Wish he would take Ed Cahill with him.

dang i actually enjoyed listening to him. i guess they will maybe bring Tiny Jim back to the Break?

i'm still waiting for them to make the change to put Ed back behind the glass and get him off hosting so the media stuff can actually be decent again and Talkin Cowboys can be good again.

He was always pleasant and seemed knowledgeable and interested in the Cowboys (which was his job, I know). I wish him well.

I wish Derek Eagleton would come back to The Break. He got promoted to the head of Cowboys media or something. I miss him on the show.

Is moving to LA to cover the Clippers moving up the ladder? Because that seems like something I might do to an employee that I hate.

Clippers are a pretty good team now and their new owner (Steve Ballmer) is the richest in American team sports. Crazy, I know. :)

Yeah. I realize that. But it's still LA, and, fundamentally, they're still the Clippers. :)

Honestly living in LA leaving DallasCowboys.com for Clippers.com is not moving up the ladder. IMO that's a huge step down. They're still the step-brother of the Lakers. He probably just wanted out of Texas

it's not about the team guys, it's about the position he's going to hold within the team. he said on the break, he's basically going to be Nick Eatman for the Clippers. so it's definitely a step up.

I agree, Derek and Nick were a very good combo.
