Thats pretty crazy. He's got a perfect game and a no hitter this year. I think he's pretty good.

I'm a huge Phillies fan. This team is simply amazing. Watching them induces goosebumps. There is no reason they shouldn't get trophy back.

I used to like Roy until he dissed the Rangers. **** Roy, may he meet the Rangers in the WS and get roughed up like Price did. :D

When did he diss the Rangers? Oh, I would love a Roy versus Cliff WS..would be classic.

Did he turn down a trade here? Most pitchers would in our financial and ownership situation.

But man oh man Halladay here would be freakin awesome.

Yes, Texas started talks with the Blue Jays for Roy and he immediately killed it saying he would evoke his no-trade clause.

I hope Texas whips his *** in the WS, then have the media ask him if he should have actually considered going to Texas. :laugh2:

As a Phillies fan, man that was Awesome!

I don't know about this. The down side to this is that if it goes past 3 or 4 games (not sure if the Phillies are using a 3 or 4 pitcher rotation), it's likely that Halladay will not have as much left in his next start. This is why you normally don't want to allow your starters to throw 9 innings.

it was totally awesome. Halladay is one of the few pitchers nowadays that throws complete games . he had 9 this year already.

i am just glad i watched it as i am not a fan of either of the teams that were playing.

Halladay routinely throws complete games. He only threw 104 pitches. There is no reason to worry about anything.

as a blue jays fan all I can say is that I'm so happy for roy. wish he was still a jay. if that were the case we might have made the wildcard

Yeah but his not being with us may have allowed our younger guys to step up. Obviously delighted for him though, and wish he was still a Jay.
