Roy is the key on Thursday

Roy has been big for us this season, and I think this game he will come up huge.. I remember him playing very well on past Thanksgivings, and I expect that to continue..

the reason I say he is the key is because I think he will be the reason that we will be able to stop the run game.. with Denver's WR corps, I like Henry and Newman to be able to cover with help from Davis/Pile/Glenn... Roy should play in the box a lot this game, and be causing a lot of trouble for the Denver runningbacks and Jake Plummer.. Roy is incredible at blitzing.. anybody notice that he blitzed only twice against the Lions, and he couldnt be stopped.. one time, he had to be held or he would have sacked Harrington.. the other time, he blew up Kevin Jones and almost got to Harrington after.. Roy will be the perfect cure for Denver's cutbacks..

mark it down, remember this thread.. Roy will be huge this Thursday and will end up with a turkey leg or statue or whatever CBS gives out to its Thanksgiving player of the game..

Henry help against the run as well....he helps a whole lot his size helps him get away from the WR that try to block him

If Roy is playing a lot in the box than I would think that Davis will be the key because he will have a LOT more responsibility

What we really need to do is take out Jake Plummer, whether its Roy or whoeve somebody needs to lay wood on him early. Seriously we got to get some blitzs, some plain old rushing from the front four/three as well. We need for our defense to dominate these guys, if Henry plays we will. This is the time of year that defense and a good kicker make the difference. Oh yeah and we got the best coach in the NFL, yeah I'm saying it, BP has them believing, mark it here we are going to the playoffs, we got the mojo....

I'll mention a name that isn't heard much lately - Dat Nguyen. His instincts are among the best in football and i look for him to make a couple plays in limited time. Also, I believe we will have a couple INTs since Plummer will eventually try to force the ball in when he shouldn't, and our CBs are playing extremely well. Having Cundiff back is such a big deal, i can't emphasize it enough - if we can't win it on a big play such as a defensive TD, then Cundiff could very well make the difference.

I would even go so far as to say that the key is how well Tucker performs in passing situations.

Bledose and the Dallas passing game will be ineffective if Tucker is unable to slow down the rush from Bledsoe's blind side. Bledsoe can do some damage down field against the Broncos secondary but he will need time.

This is Tucker's opportunity to step up and perform better than the utility player he truly is. I wouldn't be at all surprised to see the new tackle (Brooks?) take his place if he fails.
