I feel so bad for him. This was his moment to shine and make a whole bunch of people shut up. The same thing applies to Romo. He led the Cowboys what was it? 80 yards? It was a very impressive drive in a hostile environment. He deserved to be a hero. So did Roy. Oh well.

If Roy demands Barron carry his shoulder pads tomorrow, I'd side with Roy.

Yeah...he most definitely got screwed....so did a lot of other players and fans.

He still sucked outside of that bad *** catch he made in the first half....but that TD would have helped his cause out. I feel for him.

he still can't l;ine up right

whats it been 3 years

dropped that long pass

he is outta here next off season

even Bryant had more yards 56 - 21

I wanted to see a replay of that to see if the defender got a hand on it. They never showed a replay.

Roy would have been the player of the game got the game ball in all!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! (single tear rolls down my face)

The defender did look to get a hand on it. Likely because Roy didn't go after the ball and let it come to him. He should have gone up for it.

This... Roy was OK today. That end zone catch would have gone a long way in making people like me shut the hell up about his perpetual ineptness.

Dez and Miles looked much better than Roy.

That said, I really do hope Roy turns it around. There were some microscopic nuggets of hope out there today.

that 1 catch he made where he got hit alot of WR would have not gone for the catch or even made it

I'm glad he caught it. Had Barron not held, and he dropped it, he would have been cut on the spot - never to be seen in the NFL again.

Well on the bright side I don't think we'll see any "Cut Roy" or "Roy sucks" thread for awhile lol. Well, not until Barron is one anyway. Roy passed the "scapegoat" torch to Barron today. Roy can be happy for that. lol

Dez? As many times as he was targeted and only got 50+ yards? Good for a rookie. But nothing to brag about. Had it been Roy we would've said it was a bad game.

tell me this why does Roy not now where to line up ?

is he that dumb it takes him 3 years an still can not get it right

In Dez' defense, a lot of those targets seemed forced. He was well covered on several of those attempts. There were other times, however, where he and Romo were not on the same page....I'd have to say there were some miscommunications there. He looked like a rookie, but one with a ton of talent.

Certainly looked better than Roy...outside of that great catch he had in the first half. He looks faster, more athletic, and he clearly has the ability to catch the ball and run with it....something that seems to have escaped Roy in the last two years.

Roy didnt' cost us anything tonight, and I feel for him with that TD catch, but he didn't do much to change my opinion of his place on this team.

This might sound strange because the offense only put up 7 points, but i thought they played pretty well. When your RT plays for the other team and presses the "rewind" button on Madden every time something good happens, then it's pretty tough to overcome that. They moved the ball pretty nicely.

I agree but I just don't think Roy played a bad game. He wasn't targeted much and he had a great catch in limited targets. Dez looked good out there for a rookie. Moreso in the 2nd half. But the forcing wasn't necessary. I don't know what rush the Cowboys were in to get him started. I thought there were clear mismatches out there for all of our receivers.

Had it been Roy, it would have been the most catches he's ever had for us and the eighth-most yards.

His average game for us has been 2.6 catches for 35.0 yards. After 25 games, today was actually his median game in yardage -- at a mere 21 yards. That means he's already had 12 games with FEWER than 21 yards. And of the 12 games when he's had more than 21 yards, four were games in which he had 36 yards or less.

So what's your point? Whether it would've been Roy's 8th most yards or his 1st it still would've got him roasted. Especially those 2 plays....i'm not even sure they are screens or what but clearly shouldn't have been called. Especially back to back. And not to mention the play where he's the hot receiver and he's running a slant and not even looking at Romo. He's a rookie. Not roasting him. But I don't think he played a good game today. He didn't need to actually. HE just needed game time and he got that.

Lets not kid ourselves here. He had a much better game than Roy Williams who as alreay had 3 years in the system. Dez made a few mistakes but he made alot of plays out there unlike Roy who disappeared except for that one tough catch over the middle and what should have been the game winner. The loss is not on Roy Williams at all, but I honestly think that Dez should be starting next week and Roy should be dropped to the 3rd reciever spot.
