I feel so bad for him. This was his moment to shine and make a whole bunch of people shut up. The same thing applies to Romo. He led the Cowboys what was it? 80 yards? It was a very impressive drive in a hostile environment. He deserved to be a hero. So did Roy. Oh well.Paniolo22;3551002 said:He would've been the hero, the toast of the town! Barron screwed him. Ironic~

tomson75;3551055 said:Yeah...he most definitely got screwed....so did a lot of other players and fans.
He still sucked outside of that bad *** catch he made in the first half....but that TD would have helped his cause out. I feel for him.
Hoofbite;3551183 said:The defender did look to get a hand on it. Likely because Roy didn't go after the ball and let it come to him. He should have gone up for it.
Bleu Star;3551188 said:This... Roy was OK today. That end zone catch would have gone a long way in making people like me shut the hell up about his perpetual ineptness.
Dez and Miles looked much better than Roy.
That said, I really do hope Roy turns it around. There were some microscopic nuggets of hope out there today.

tomson75;3551366 said:In Dez' defense, a lot of those targets seemed forced. He was well covered on several of those attempts. There were other times, however, where he and Romo were not on the same page....I'd have to say there were some miscommunications there. He looked like a rookie, but one with a ton of talent.
Certainly looked better than Roy...outside of that great catch he had in the first half. He looks faster, more athletic, and he clearly has the ability to catch the ball and run with it....something that seems to have escaped Roy in the last two years.
Roy didnt' cost us anything tonight, and I feel for him with that TD catch, but he didn't do much to change my opinion of his place on this team.

AdamJT13;3551391 said:Had it been Roy, it would have been the most catches he's ever had for us and the eighth-most yards.
His average game for us has been 2.6 catches for 35.0 yards. After 25 games, today was actually his median game in yardage -- at a mere 21 yards. That means he's already had 12 games with FEWER than 21 yards. And of the 12 games when he's had more than 21 yards, four were games in which he had 36 yards or less.
rocyaice;3551396 said:So what's your point? Whether it would've been Roy's 8th most yards or his 1st it still would've got him roasted. Especially those 2 plays....i'm not even sure they are screens or what but clearly shouldn't have been called. Especially back to back. And not to mention the play where he's the hot receiver and he's running a slant and not even looking at Romo. He's a rookie. Not roasting him. But I don't think he played a good game today. He didn't need to actually. HE just needed game time and he got that.
