I was wondering about this player and decided to look him up. Hes not even playing in the NFL as of now, hes doing some media thing for the Uni of Oklahoma? wow, i did read somewhere he would always consider himself a Cowboy and has already agreed with Jerry to sign a 'one day' contract typa thing , to retire a cowboy.

He looked really good with woody in the backfield, but dropped drastically when Woodson retired.

Yeah there was a thread here prior to the start of the season about him taking that media job with OU. Too bad he didn't last longer playing the way he did his first few years.

He's not in the NFL for good reason...

Yep, horrible rule changes making it near impossible to play as a hard hitting safety. Soon football will have a smaller strike zone than baseball.

It's weird that you bring him up. I was thinking of him today because of that one play he made at the UT-OU 2001 game back in the day. IMO, one of the best defensive plays in college history. If only he didn't get beat deep so much....

We should sign him for just one game this year. Next game against the Deadskins, I want him to put a classic Roy hit on Cooley. Several times.

Not being able to fully comprehend a defense, lacking commitment, and being thin skinned don't help either.

I met the dude this summer.. Cool guy.. His uncle is actually my boss and his mom also works here where I'm at

One of the most precipitous declines in Cowboy history. Sad, then really annoying when he became such a liability. Fun to watch for a couple of seasons, we certainly haven't had anybody like him for a while - past or present.

He's a great guy. I don't think anyone will ever be able to know what really happened but he -- to me -- seems like one of those guys that played because he was good, not because he actually loved it.

True, his joy was in the rewards that they brought. Too bad he didn't glimpse that greatness road on suffering the pain as well.

No player pre-Romo rival's the level of internet discussion.

2002-2003 I thought he was a top 10 defensive player and on his way to Canton. I had not seen a DB including Lott wreak havoc like he did. Never seen a player cause so many injuries to the opposition.

For a while, he was my favorite Cowboy. Crazy that a player could reach epic highs followed so quickly by epic lows. At least he's found a job after football.

Ha I'd love that. Saddens me to say that I wouldn't expect it to happen. I really hated to see his downfall. When he was in his prime, he was one of my favorite Cowboys of all time. It was amazing to watch him play. His drastic downfall was pretty depressing.

I do really hope we sign him one day and let him retire as a Cowboy.

The time he made Emmitt cry was one of my favorite all-time plays.

It will only take one hit.....
