...yes, from the RR.

At #22 - Need a WR like Sweed, Jackson or Devin Thomas here.

At #28 - RB. Felix Jones or Chris Johnson would fit the bill.

Personally, I'd rather go after a CB than WR in the first round, but we'll see how the draft shakes out.

Also talked about Pacman going to the Cowboys for a #5 this year or next.

Did they show him or was it just his voice?

A #5 what?

They showed him on camera.

WR just doesn't excite me this year (at least in the first round). With as many good CB's coming out that are expected to go in round one, we really need to pounce on one.

i'd have to agree. we've got TO for another year, maybe 2. crayton is "ok" as a #2 but we do need a #2 if glenn is really done. hurd and stanback and still good - but otherwise we do lack a speed #2. esp if hos has esp and stanback becomes a wow rb. : )

i think we can pick up a WR later or in FA or even the roy williams deal may not be dead - all possible. but i view CB and RB as bigger needs to fill than WR at this point.

all that said, if at your pick the best player is a WR, take him and move on.

i'm all for drafting BPA, but i base my BPA on our needs, not just BPA period.

I would look for a WR like Jerome Simpson, Earl Bennett or Andre Caldwell in round three. Of those guys, I only see #2 wideouts and not a true #1, but TO is still going to be able to play at a high level for 2-3 more years.

I agree. CB is the most important position we need to draft for. Of course, sometimes you have no choice but to take a different position. I would rather draft say Malcolm Kelly over say Aqib Talib whom I would convert to safety anyhow.

Pacman for a #5 is a good deal to me. Personally. I don't think thats going to happen though unless in agrees dump his current contract. Otherwise, it's more likely he goes elsewhere or is just straight up cut by the Titans and the Cowboys can sign him then.

I say give Tenn an NBA type deal for Pacman, a 7th this year or if he's not suspended again a 6th (5th if he makes the PB) and continue the formula the next year (5th, 4th or 3rd) and so on as long as he's not suspended. If Pacman gives us 3 PB years they get a #1, if he flops or gets suspended they get a 7th.

The hilarious part of this is.... I literally just got off the phone with scout.com cancelling my subscription.

Been meaning to do that for over a year, but I always keep forgetting and it keeps renewing.

This time, I finally did it. And I nearly missed the cutoff again.

If anyone has the ability to put this on youtube.com I would greatly appreciate it. Don't have much nice to say about Roy and would like to see what he had to say. Judging by the posts, not much worth a dime. Typical.

Pretty soon there will be a scout.com reminder that he is now a respected TV draft scout and his insider information will be touted as a service and a bargain that you shouldn't miss out on.

I'd rather have amoebic dysentery.

You're not the only one. Gee, we have Newman and Henry at 30 and 31 years old come this year and no #3 CB. Meanwhile we had the #2 offense in the game only 2nd to the historical Patriots' offense.

I also find it hard to believe we'd give up a draftpick for Pacman. Dallas waited until Tank got released from the Bears and he was only suspended for 10 games. So why would we give up a draft pick for a guy that's still suspended?

Might as well draft Quincy Carter in the second again.

I believe that the Pacman contract would call for the new team to pay him $2 million or less each of the next three years. Cutting him would also trigger not salary cap acceleration since that would happen to the Titans at trade time. Now maybe you can negotiate the guy down to the league minimum for the first year, but you are eventually going to have to give him bigger money up front if he stays clean. I'd rather be on the hook for <$2 million per year with no signing bonus penalty for cutting him.

Jaques Reeves will make more than Pacman the next three years if they both stay clean and healthy.

Getting a corner is different than a backup NT.

Yeah, PacMan is still suspended. But with the league trending towards more and more passing, CB is becoming more of an emphasis. There will probably be more interest in a talent like PacMan than there was Tank, despite PacMan's problems. It might take a draft pick.
