I'll tell you where he is, either diving at peoples feet, horse collaring them or lost in coverage.

I'm glad you posted this.

I'm gonna say what I've felt for the past three years.

Roy Williams has not been the same player since Parcells arrived. His rookie season was his best. He was a playmaker.

Seems to me, the longer Parcells coaches guys with playmaking talent, Julius, DeMarcus Ware, Roy...the more concerned they become about not making mistakes, which we all know is a Parcells mantra...and the less effective and instinctive they play.

Wait! He did lay the wood on Moss for trying to go deep.....oh never mind he was late getting over there AS usual. So much for having T-New shadowing him.Piss poor effort all around, if you want to call it that.

dude yuo make a really good point...you gotta think some of tehse players are out there trying to play perfect with no mistakes..instead of going out there and playing, playing loose and making plays...great point dude

Thanks...it's my biggest gripe about Parcells...or one of them.

DON'T MAKE A MISTAKE!!!!!

I had a boss who once walked into my office and asked "Have you made any mistakes lately"

I of course replied "No"

He responded "Too bad...that means you aren't being creative...aren't giving it your all..that's the only way to not make mistakes"

Heck, I look at DeMarcus Ware. He was better in pre-season, remember him vs. Seattle in the preseason? He was better earlier in the year....

I'm sure his technique is better now....but he's nowhere near the playmaker he was.

And in the 2005 version of the NFL, playmakers win games.

He looked like a 3rd grader when he flew through the air trying to run into Portis by the goaline. Roy doesn't tackle, he pushes and tries to run through people.

Roy Williams is still one of the best players on the team.

He has made plays all season, including the play of the year against McNabb and the Eagles.

It is not Roy's fault he had to take on Guards and Tackles all day because Zimmer and the coaching staff didnt adjust.

Washington ran that same Sweep play with the Guard and the Center pulling all day long and a Guard is always going to win when he is going up against a member of the secondary.

Now if we had a innovative coaching staff, we would move Roy Williams and Demarcus Ware around and do all kinds of crazy things with them.

The only thing good that came out of this game is that Gregg Williams proved that their are still innovative defensive coaches out there.

Roy Williams will be going to the Pro Bowl and I think he has earned it.

Besides, I dont think Roy has been called for a Horsecollar one time this year.

Amen, it was sick watching them run the same play over and over to the same side of the field. *** does it take for them to step up and make an adjustment. Why the F*** was A. Glenn left one on one with Moss, AGAIN? I saw enough of that week 2. We are down 7 nothing and he burns him again, that was a huge play early in the game.

I know what you mean. I was hosting a Christmas party for my inlaws and I am totally anti-social during the whole stupid game and I see Roy Williams laughing on the sidelines down 35-7. I wanted to throw my fruitcake at the TV.

Right on Dooms

But I really dont have a problem with Glenn being 1 on 1 with Moss, that catch Moss made was just a great play and Glenn has played well against some of the best Receivers in the game.

The problem is, that our Defensive Coordinator was not innovative enough to disguise blitzes and scheme when he was putting Newman and Glenn in zero coverage.

Also, early in the game you had #35 Jaques Reeves covering Moss at times.

Some of these coverages just really didnt make sense. Someone also said Ware was on Moss sometimes too.

And I am still P'oed about Zimmer not adjusting to the damn Sweep play. Gibbs ran that sucker back in the 80s so it was certainly nothing new.

Once I am done converting my DVD files, I will have to show some picks of that play. Heck one time it was so bad that Newman got twisted around after being hit by a pulling guard and while his back was turned, the Running Back ran right over him.

I brought this up after the denver game and everybody thought I was nuts. I do not feel he is playing badly just not worthy of the number 8 pick of the draft he is no longer a playmaker.

Imagine him playing for Dungy in Indy or up in Chicago. Zimmer isn't using him like he should.

Soes anyone else watch the games and just sort of feel jealous? I see Merriman getting to run around like a wild man, and I'm envious that Ware doesn't. I see Polamalu blitzing and attacking constantly in Pitt, and I want Roy to get to do the same. It just gets old...
