Roy Williams is 26 and Javon Walker is 29.

I wouldn't mind having Walker, but at this point he is moving into being a clear #2 option.

I don't know if Terry Glenn is a definite fixture at receiver for us anymore. I think at best I would put him in the #3 option (not the slot) over Crayton, and try and move Crayton to Miami.

I would love to have

Terrell Owens - Roy Williams - Terry Glenn
or
Terrell Owens - Javon Walker - Terry Glenn

All of them just seem so injury prone though...

We would still need to draft at least one young WR because, like you said, all of them have dealt with recent injuries.

We have about 6 mil in cap space even if we reconstruct some contracts it wont be much. We have to save at least 5 mil for the draft, i seriously dont see us doing anything in free agency and we also need to save some for ware, newman and barber if they dont get a long term deal soon for next season. I think jerry made a mistake by saying that he's going to add a wow player or wants to add a wow player, just dont see anything happening. I really dont see how walker is an upgrade over glenn. Walker is approaching 30 and is injury prone. No way i spend 1 nickel on him id rather get a wr in the draft for cheap. I still think were the best team in the division but i dont see us dominating on the offensive side in our division this season. After the eagles got samuel and hall looking like hes going to wind up in New york yes T.O has burned them but they are a major upgrade in our division. I would of thought if we could of added a real #2 wr option it just would be too much for defenses to handle but after the defense in our divsion getting much stronger i dont see our offense being as explosive as it was last season (ecspecially in the divsion). I really thought JJ was gonna make a splash and maybe he still is but boys there is just no way i can see us affording it.

Seeing as how Javon Walker was released and can be had without trading for him I would prefer him over Williams.

Walker is a player. I would not mind having him but I definatly want Roy my texas boy. But it doesnt matter. Either one makes us the scariest team in the NFL.

But hey lets draft one. Gonna need to develope them anyway. Our WR are old. Lets draft lil #4 Roy, aka Limas Sweed, or Bowden. I know I know his forty time was bad bad but I still can't get over how I saw him play. Its like TO all over again.

This whole situation shows how stubborn Jerry Jones really is. Javon Walker is 29 years old. This guy is past his prime, and is simply a stop-gap at WR. T.O. will most likely retire in 2 or 3 years. Who will take over for T.O. then? Walker? HAHA! Jerry is trying to prove everyone wrong about Isaiah Stanback. I guarantee you the next time Jerry has a press conference, he'll talk about how much potential our young WR's have. Hurd is nothing more than a #4 WR, Miles Austin is a kick returner and probably has no business being a WR because he can't catch for his life, and Isaiah Stanback will end up being another 4th round bust by Dallas. Jerry, draft a young WR in the 1st or 2nd round for once. Sweed or Hardy will do just fine for me.

I'm sorry to all of you Terry Glenn fans and apologists, I too like Terry, but not to the extent of holding the WR position hostage in hopes of getting one more tired season out of Terry.

The guy is on his last leg, err, I mean knee. What is he, 34 and coming off a knee surgery, hoping to forgoe a career ending knee surgery in hopes of salvaging one last year?

And you want Patrick Crayton, a young, up and coming WR to be shipped off to the Tunafins? Reason being?

Look, I know Crayton screwed the pooch in the Divisional playoffs, dropping one, and stopping on a route, but it's not the end of the world. Nor was it all his fault.

Terry needs to hang em up and not hold the Cowboys hostage at WR, and the Cowboys need for T.O. to duplicate, or damn near duplicate his 2007-08 season next season, and hope that Crayton continues to improve. Then go and do the right thing and draft a young WR with pedigree. Preferrably one coming out of a Division 1 program in the 1st or 2nd round.

1st choice = 2 1/2 WR's (youth and that extra half)

2nd choice = 2 WR's

What about his banged up wrist? Can this guy get it done at the next level?

He was a nice compliment to Vince Young, but I'm not sure I'm sold on Limas, especially after Vince left UT.

He's big, and that is about all that has intrigued me. Where is the production?

Manningham, whom a lot on here have bashed, has had a more productive career than Lima Bean Sweed.

We have a #1 in Owens and a nice #3 in Clayton plus 3 youngs guys. It is time to let Glenn go IMO, unless he is 100%. I think we should sign a vet for depth and draft another young guy to groom. We don't need a WOW Wr until we lose TO.

Texas had O-line issues. Could not protect the QB. They are lucky McCoy is such a tough guy. Limas is the real deal.
