Roy Williams benched in Chicago

That didn't take long.

Roy Williams has been a starting receiver in Chicago in name only early this season. Johnny Knox has tripled his production and more than doubled Williams’ targets despite coming off the bench.

On Sunday, Williams may not even be a starter in name only anymore.

Hate to hear that, he's a good guy. But it does sound like he's about done. Chicago needs to put him in the slot for the rest of the year and accept that he's not going to be anything but below average to average there.

If Jerry weren't so stubborn about proving he was right about RW11 we would still have Crayton on the team this year.

There's some merit to that. The problem is/was Crayton was poor as a #2 receiver. He didn't have the speed to beat most starting corners. As a #3 he found his niche. I don't think Crayton would give this team more than what Robinson can.
