Gary Horton, from Scouts inc (via espn) showed how they think Williams will effect our our offense with 6 plays.

It is basically what we have been saying anyways, that teams can't put 8 in the box anymore, or 81 or 11 will be in single coverage.

Kind of cool, but I'm sure JG is very happy he has so much flexibility now. Should be fun to watch to say the least.

As awesome as that is, thats just basic plays.

You can put any of the four in motion. You can run ANY of that with Crayton on Williams side too. You can run Crayton and one of the others deep and drag EITHER across on their favorite crossing catch and run. You can bunch them and legally pick etc. You can add a fourth wr and cause all kinds of havoc.

Its endless if our line returns to form.

Lets do a "bunch left" with TO, Williams, and Austin. Then ask the safeties who they are going to cover!

Did he really have to include the Draw? Does he really have to give Redball any more encouragement to run a draw?

What's apparent to me is that Crayton will almost always be open. That Z Deep out looked scary like it could be taken for 6 the other way. Romo should throw that to Crayton underneath.

They missed the goal line fade. Owens is OK at it, but RW is even better.

I had the same thoughts. That is not one of Romo's best throws. Romo loves to work the middle of the field. Crayton is going to get a lot of balls his way in this kind of setup. The one thing this shows me is that other teams are going to be playing a lot of Nickle.

Witten is going to just love it!

Well, I'm sure that teams will take risks at times. I can't see any team doubling Roy and TO every play.

From those animations, Witten will be matched up against a LB every down. I don't think there is a LB in the league who could hang with Witten in man coverage.

Hes too much GOD to be dealt with using simple man-to-man.

One concern I have is that Redball won't run that many 3 WRs sets out there. Correct me if I am wrong but haven't there been a ton of 2-TE sets going on the field lately?

I think he almost has to. Crayton is meant to be in the slot. As a #2 Crayton can be negated. As a slot receiver, only teams with the best secondaries can hold Crayton down.

I can't wait to see this offense in full swing. 5-6 weeks from now after Roy gets acclimated and Crayton sets into his new role, its gonna be fun to watch.

What?

No end-around to Owens who then throws it to RW for a 50 yard bomb?

No RW to Owens hook and ladder?

I watched each video and I can't figure out why you wouldn't throw the ball to Witten on the "Z out" or "RB Circle".

Now I understand that those plays are designed to go else where, however, if the the coverage ends up being Witten one on one with a linebacker down the middle of the field with no safeties as those videos show and the ball doesn't go to Witten then we will be missing out on big plays down field.

Imagine the RB circle play with Felix Jones. Can't imagine there are too many Inside Linebackers that can keep up with Felix.

dmq is right on. Witten and Crayton should be open ALL DAY underneath. I also think Austin will run some plays out of the slot because he's big enough, fast enough and he doesn't fumble in traffic. Seriously gents: LB's trying to cover Witten, Crayton and/or Austin underneath?????? Good lord, even Brad Johnson would have a hard time screwing that up................
