Slowly but surely he is definitely the receiver we're looking for.

I said a couple weeks ago that if him and Romo started connecting, that this tandem with him and Miles Austin could be the next Fitzgerald/Boldin.

We might have lost to the Giants, but Romo passed for nearly 400 yards, 3 touchdowns (could have and should have been 4-5 touchdowns). With a 75% completion rating.

What this means is that Romo has options, and those options are catching the ball more consistently. You can't stop Austin, Williams, and Witten if they're all playing well.

Now, you know that you're gonna get ripped for posting this..............(no matter how true it is). All I ever wanted from him is 5-6 catches a games for around 70-80 YPG and let Austin be the 4-5 catch guy for 90-100 YPG. That would be a perfect combination.

unfortunately the running game did nothing and the defense folded like a lawn chair. Roy had a great game though and came up big when he needed to. Hopefully he gets better and the running game improves.

The defense had an off game and will continue to play lights out down the stretch.

Romo, Witten, Austin and Williams proved they're ready to punch December in the mouth.

Will our supposed 3-Back-Attack be our letdown? I feel it wont if Garrett uses them appropriately.

It's no where close to be the tandem that Fitz and Bolden are. Did you even watch the sunday night game ? Their hands are amazing. Our WR drop wide open passes.

The last drop I remember was one that was punched out of RW's hands. So that wouldn't be a drop actually ,but a spectucular pass defended.

Can you recall one time we had a wide open drop?

Yup, Roy is coming along. Whatever improvements have been made, I'm glad they have been.

Roy and Miles are speed demons compared to Fitz and Boldin. Equal hands all around. They don't drop much.

Roy took a step in the right direction. Two TD catches.
But 60 yards total? That is quite a way to working up to the stature that preceded him.
I will reserve comment until RW breaks 100 yards.
Until then he's just second string.

He had a 100 yard game not too long ago. It's not like he's never done it.

Anyway I'm glad to see that Roy and Romo seem to be progressing in the right direction. They've been more and more consistent lately and I'm happy to see that. I believe they'll continue to improve through out the remainder of this year and into the future.

I agree....RW scored a pair of td's and we are all happy about that. Definately showed flashes, but he needs to have one of those dominating performances and take over a game!!

Heaven forbid something starts to click for Roy Williams. There will be a lot ticked off people.

105 against GB.

I have no problem with Austin, Williams and Witten as your top 3 targets. That's a whole lot better than most teams.

I would still like to get a different #3 slot WR next year to be the 4th target. Crayton isnt a liability there by any means, but I would like a faster homerun threat to compliment the trio. He doesn't even have to be that spectacular or a big name guy, but just bring a different skillset to the table that the others dont. Someone like a Roscoe Parrish type of guy.

First of all, if Romo doesn't overthrow Roy for that touchdown i'm not sure if that would've put him to 100 but it would've been close. And second, the 60 yards by Roy isn't bad especially when Miles and Witten had more targets and also had 100 yards lol. Asking three receivers to put up 100 yards is a big task but hell to their credit they almost did it.

I know Roy is a whipping boy here and the boys gave up far too much for him, however he will ok. 2010 - Austin and Williams(barring injury to either) will each have 1000 yards seasons.

One game does not make up for a whole two seasons of suck.

He has had more than 1 good game. You are right it does not make up for the past but it does matter that he and Romo are getting things down pat with each other. The Cowboys need as many weapons as they can get heading into this stretch of games so I'll take late over never.
