I just dont understand it, Underarmour is better if your cold(thermal gear) and it's stretchy meaning less likely to rip also it is less for an opponent to grab..

actually, son , from my football days, under armour is not just cold weather gear, there is warm weather gear that actaully keeps you cool, i dont know how its just science my dude, but anyways its 6 am and im pretty sure i went to sleep at 3 got woken up by my frat brother and went back out and drank and im pretty sure that ro williams looked more beast mode his rookie year when he wore neither and he was huge, pretty sure about that, i know some of you willl love this email and some will hate, just flow with it, **** happens

I think it is a superstition, sort of. I think he wears a t-shirt that says something about god on it.

I don't like the baggy shirt. He's the enforcer, he should have a shirt like Newman on so when he levels you, his arms are shown fully.

Except for that interception he had against Carolina, right? So he's gone a whole two straight games without a sack, INT, or forced fumble.

Maybe he's trying to be more like Ed Reed and Troy Polamalu like everybody always wanted him to. I mean, Reed just got his first interception in the last 8 games, and Polamalu just got injured after his 3rd consecutive game without a big play. Thank goodness Roy is finally starting to play like these guys!

lol thanks I was aware of that. I just said if the sleeves are to keep him warm it would make more sense to wear the underarmour cold gear.

This thread is funny to me. When I played, you always wore this kind of stuff. There was no underarmor and if there was, we didn't have the money to be spending on it. You wore what you had that would work. Perhaps it's as simple as that for Roy. Maybe he just wears it because he has it and it works. Imagine.........

I found out the reason by the way. Someone mentioned it and they were right.

He's a big christian and it's a shirt from his church. I believe they showed his Pastor at one of the games this year, Roy gave him a ball or did something noteworthy and i remember them talking about it.
