When Tony was able to get him the ball he looked good, he looked fast especially on that TD. I think he's out to prove the critics wrong and he wants to win. I hope he continues because he is a #1 wr. He is a great short yardage, physical, possession type receiver and with the shape he is in, he can be a deep threat as well.

I still don't understand all the negative noise on him, he's always been a outstanding WR. I was hyped when we got him and I still am.

He has some separation on that run but lets not forget it was against safetys. I still think he's got good speed, but his sure hands are more important to me.

If Romo ever learns how to throw a fade our offense will be lethal in the redzone with Roy and Bennett

1 skinny post. Nice.

The remainder of the game was sloppy route running and lackluster blocking when not the focal point. "Crayton" looks good.
Roy Williams looked good. he blocked very well today especially on Barbers td. see Roy actually blocks and is good at it unlike the bills new wr who's blocking is soooooooooo overrated it's funny.

To be honest I think it is because of the fact of the number of pics that were given for him. The same thing plagued Joey Galloway.

For a WR drafted in the top ten he has had only one 1000 yard season in the pass happy Detroit offense.

He does not run good routes and he is lazy.

Those are the facts as to why everyone in the NFL thinks he is not a #1 WR.

He has a lot to prove this late in his career.

I was satisfied with his game today, I thought he blocked pretty well today. Ronde Barber almost picked off a pass on Roy, I don't know if it was supposed to be a comeback or a curl, but I thought the route was runned pretty poorly. Besides that he played well, I can't wait to see what he does next week, this is a primetime division rival game I expect him to step up.

You didn't get the memo -- there's nothing to be happy about.

I thought it was Talib, anyways it wasn't a good play call.

You're right it was Talib, was it supposed to be a curl or a comeback?

I feel like I'm in some sort of bizarro world reading a few people say that Roy did nothing today. Wow, parts of this crowd is hard to please.

I posted my thoughts on Roy in a different thread last night, which essentially said I wanted to see him become a more polished overall receiver and not just a guy who can make the spectacular catch.

I was quite, quite pleased today. He looked so much more explosive at the line of scrimmage than a year ago. It seemed like he was running routes with a purpose, and not just "floating" around, for the lack of a better term. Last year, it seemed like he would just drift around the field. Today he moved with precision and I liked the way he used his arms when getting jammed.

Breaking the tackle and racing foir the long TD was classic Roy (the good part of his game that has always been there).

Overall, quite pleased. If he plays all season like he did today, there will be no reason to gripe IMO. He'll have a heck of a year in such a case, and the offense should do quite well.

Yeah there were a couple of poorly thrown balls by Romo. Really can't fault Roy for that...or any of our other WRs/TE.

No it wasn't. RW looked good today and you're letting your bias get in the way of your judgement.

RW looked OK... If he consistently plays the way he played today for the rest of the season I won' be overly impressed but I will be somewhat content. I would prefer to see much better route running and better attention to detail when called upon to block for someone else. Ask Crayton what good route running will get you.
