Before the year is done, Stanback will be starting at WR. :bang2:

We're going to lose three WRs to injury? Or he's going to be that good?

We'd only have to lose two for Stanback to be starting, we lose 1 and he's the slot guy.

If 86 ever gets to start, you know we are officially done.

I think that people have written Stanback off too quickly. He was a project pick, he deserves at least another two years as long as he's showing progress in practice.

I guess that my subliminal mind speaking, I keep forgetting we have Crayton.

Crayton was taken much later, with much less in terms of physical tools and contributed a whole lot more in his first two years than Stanback has.

The former, that is if Stanback can stay healthy himself. On seconds thoughts, scrap that. Before the year is done, Joe Horn will be starting at WR. :(

We have had a lot more talent in front of Stanback than we did when Crayton was in his first two years. You can't compare them without context.

I am a little 'concerned' that Roy is still nursing the foot injury.

And Sam Hurd mentioned the injust again in his interview the other day too.

Was it a plantar fascia or was it the Lisfranc?

DMN and Star had reported it was the PF at the end of the season.

Then Nick Eatman had an article a few weeks ago where he said it was the Lisfranc. I emailed him to clarify and heard nothing back about it. But I think I will go with Eatman's version If I had to guess which injury it was.

A lot more talent now? 2004, his rookie year, was the only where there was obviously questionable receiving talent here, with Qunicy Morgan as our #2 and Key as our #1.

By 2005, it as Key and Terry, a pretty good #1 and #2, and by 2006 TO was here and Glenn was #2.

The main issue has been our QB's in that time, which is slanted even more in Stanback's favor.

Maybe he'll step up this year, but I'm not willing to jut gift a guy 4 years before I start expecting him to show something, this is the NFL.
