Agree that Thompson hasn't gotten enough opportunities but that's because he couldn't pick up the blitz and was more of a hindrance in the backfield. If he can do that & show some cutting ability, he might be okay. He doesn't make this team if he is only a change of pace runner. We've already got 2 RBs--either of whom technically is a change of pace type. We need a #3 who can legitimately step in if either of the first 2 RBs get injuried. This obvious is Thompson last effort to remain on this team.
