Good.

I hope he gets it back. Why do women think ending a relationship gives them entitlement to keep whatever they want?

Leave it to Roy to figure out such a goofy way to propose. I'll just venture a guess he subconsciously didn't want to hear her reject his proposal in person. Obviously, he had himself a "tiger by the tail" with that little honey. Her father is a peckerhead and a greedy fool for getting involved in that mess.

Probably right. BTW, what's with our wide receivers and jewelry this off-season? A toxic combination.

You mean you haven't purchased any Swag this offseason?

Had the ring been a gift then she would have a right to keep it. It was a engagement ring therefor not a gift,,, her intentions were clear when she claimed to have lost it.....

Why the heck her dad got in the mix is a bit strange. Appears he was going to "cash in" until a law suit was filed.

Jeez -- it must be a sign of the times . . . twenty or thirty years ago, jewelry wasn't all the rage it is now. These days, it seems like a contest to see who can waste the most money on "bling." Maybe it's a sign the players are making too much money now, huh? H-m-m, I'm wondering if the owners should use that as an example in negotiations -- LOL.

Yep. And then he had the nerve to say "I don't need him" about Roy. That's an odd statement. Roy proposed to his daughter, not to him. Also, his daughter is a grown woman, so she should be about supporting herself.

She's beautiful, but a proposal by mail would not be romantic to most women. Just sayin.

I'm sure she could make due with the sweet consolation prize of never having to work again, having as much as exposure you could ever want and free access to celebrity status and connections.

On second though, the fact that she gave up all that stuff makes me think she's somewhat normal.

Can't take credit for this... heard it on Mike & Mike this am.

"Roy mails it in every week. Why would his proposal be any different?"

Cant help but feel bad for him.

His time in Dallas has been misery, both on and off the field.

Seems like a good guy too, just a bit of an odd ball.

One more dropped ball for Williams.

But good news, my neighbor, Desdemona, says she would marry Roy in a heartbeat. She aint that pretty but she's a helll of a good cook and a better receiver than Roy.
Roy, you want me to introduce you? She works nights and sleeps days but will clean up for you anytime.

Good stuff right there, Gimme...good stuff.

Wheres the picture of her in this thread?

Edit nvm I see it. Quote form an article. "Brooke was playing chess and Williams checkers. She got the money, the ring and then decide she can probably do better than Roy Williams."

Now I read that they lived together for a year. That makes the mail-in proposal even worse, IMO.
