No, but don't need to be at the end of a stiff arm to see that Roy just isn't Roy anymore.... Earlier in his career, that guy wouldn't have tried to stiff arm Roy, he would have run out of bounds to avoid a hit. Roy's got a big bullseye painted on him now'days...

Chris Brown planted him a few years ago in preseason IIRC.

I didnt get a chance to see the game, how did he do?

Made me proud to see him hustling out there. He seemed better in coverage except for big pass and helped contain near the line.

If he gets more confidence, he can definitely be a force again.
On a scale of 1 to 10, a solid 6.

You guys are ridiculous. Like someone mentioned, Chris Brown (a Titan at the time) put Roy on his back with a stiff-arm several years ago in preseason. And that was back when Roy was arguably the biggest hitter in the NFL.

No, Roy isn't above a timely stiff-arm, NOBODY is. Slaton timed it well, and it was affective as it is designed to be.

Oh yeah...and he was invisible. As someone pointed out, who made a standout play last night? Yes, Demarcus is a beast, but who made the standout play on D last night? (cue the crickets).

I agree with that. I don't have any problems with people losing faith in him, but to say a stiff arm is evidence he's done is simply beyond ridiculous. There is not a person on this forum who could not be caught off guard by a stiff arm and conversely not a person on this forum who couldn't use a stiff arm to their advantage. It's all about timing it right.

That crap was so silly it makes you wonder if they know anything.

Just one play, and boy did Steve Slaton get the better of Roy. To say Roy's career is over because of that is rudiclee.
Slaton steal of draft - we talked about him and Rice in draft topics. Unfortunately BIG 12/SEC gets too much run/pub in hearts of Texas.
