Barring an injury, he will INDEED. Kid is a COMPLETE DE. Only issue will be his measurables at this point (even though I fully believe he’s a legit 6’2.5” and 265+ with around 33” arms).

Love Bain coming out of high school and production has been solid so far at Miami. Kid has potential but I doubt this kid come to Dallas, even if Cowboys are in draft position and try to hold the line, some GM will jump ahead of Dallas and scoop him up right from under their nose. Seen it plenty of times in the past.

Bain looks like a LDE type run defender, and I'm not sure how high you take a player at that position. Dallas pass rush needs what they lost and that's speed n quickness.

If he a) stays healthy and b) keeps playing like he is, he will. What I like about him is that he could be 12+ sack guy in the NFL, but I truly believe he’ll be a consistent 8-10 sack guy that is amazing against the run as well…I other words, the version of DLaw BEFORE he got paid (that version was GREAT). That type of player will constantly be in Pro Bowl chatter and possibly All Pro as well.

If he’s not available, T.J. Parker, Keldric Faulk, Peter Woods, and even Matayo Uiagalelei would be good fallback options. Team needs D help.

This draft is deeper than the 2025 but it doesn’t have the top end talent. I don’t think Bain is better prospect than the Giants kid.
