I never saw Rodgers as a great fit for a 3-4 scheme. He can play in the 3-4, but he seems more suited to be in a 4-3 system. I really don't like him as a 3-4 NT. He has the size for the position, but he never seemed to have the mind set to be a NT.

He still looked lazy with the Browns during the times I watched Cleveland play. He has some good plays followed by having to sit on the bench to rest or walking through a play.

If he could lose some weight and stay motivated he could be an all pro.

Chances are that will never happen though.

And sorry guys rat would be more effective at de. Many of you have seen what happens when they dont double team him consistently

Exactly. He's gap shooter. People have this misconception that lazy and obese = great against the run. Run defense is as much about tenacity as anything.

Yeah, I have seen what happens .... he gets voted into Pro Bowls.

Hey, we have one of the most unique weapons in the NFL. A nosetackle who is so quick off the snap he can penetrate the pocket and split a double team almost before the QB has time to get off his drop. I got a great idea ... let's move him FARTHER away from the QB, give him a poorer angle and completely neutralize his unique talent !!! This is gonna be awesome.
