One thing I will say about the move in favor for the Bills to Texas is...

There certainly were millions of buffalo that used to roam the Texas plains way back in the day. There still are some buffalo mostly kept in private ranches. As for New York State, where in the state were there ever any buffalo???
Weighting in line at the Mighty Crab buffet?

The Bills didn’t even bother to tell the officials in Austin. Austin officials had no idea and were blindsided by this info. The Bills want the taxpayer to pay 100% of a new stadium and are making up crap and threatening to leave.

Billionaire greedy owner looking for every penny he can get. I am sure it pains this owner to pay Josh Allen $40M.

Just a matter of time before the ‘Bills’ make a beeline to Toronto. Toronto is a 1000 times better city than Buffalo.

Anyone think the Cowboys or Texans would allow a team in Austin? Not happening.

Someone tell the Bills billionaire owner that it costs about $1B to move a team.

That is an expensive price to pay to move that little bit to Toronto. Divorces aren’t cheap. Joke is on Buffalo as they get little of that $1B. Most of it goes to the other owners :muttley:

What a racket. Fans get absolutely screwed and the owners get richer.

Doubt they would approve
That’s too many teams in one state
Probably mostly leverage to get a new stadium

Too many in one state? Florida has the Bucs, Dolphins and Jags. California has the Rams, 49ers and Chargers. Texas has only the Cowboys and Texans.

And Texas has over 7 million more people than Florida. San Antonio is the 7th largest city by population in the United States.

If Florida deserves 3 NFL teams Texas certainly does....

Just make the move to Canada already. Both the other major sports have Canadian teams. They’re almost already there.

Exactly, every major North American sports league has at least a team in Toronto. Why should the NFL be any different? Buffalo's close enough to Toronto. If they want out, Toronto should be where they move to.

Even though they have a buffalo on their helmet, they're not the Buffalo's, they're named after a person like the Cleveland Browns. He's some guy that hunted buffalo and served for the Union in the civil war. The name fits for the city of Buffalo for obvious reasons. It would be next to absurd if that name carried over to somewhere in Texas. Sort of like if the Dallas hockey team didn't drop the north from Northstars before moving to Dallas. But hey, it doesn't have to make sense. When NBA teams moved to Utah and Los Angeles they kept the former names of Jazz and Lakers. Almost comical.

Except, there used to be millions upon millions of buffalo that roamed all over Texas 200 years ago. Some still exist on private ranches.

huh? NY State technically has 3 teams, California has 3 teams now had 4 teams. Florida has 3 teams. 25% of the NFL is located in just 3 states.
