I see progress too. Let this unfold first. However, I can't help but feel optimism for this team's future. Garrett already has his signature on this team. You might as well see where the results take you, considering the "retooling" phase is nearly over. Garrett has to win some games now.

At least wait til the off season... and see what happens during the rest of the year.... how many times has a team started well and petered off my week 6-7.

Lets not get carried away here, lets see how we play in these upcoming division games before talking contract extension.

I tell Garrett that if he wins the division he gets a new 3 year contract............if we lose the division but make playoffs as wild card team he gets a 2 year contract...............we miss the playoffs and I drive him the airport.............this sounds fair.

Tee-hee.

Just a rumor, and not a shocking one, exactly. But I will point out that I said in the offseason that it would be a classic Jerry move to wait for a mini-winning streak in the regular season to do an extension for Garrett and sell it to the fans at that point, rather than doing anything unpopular before the season started. This would be pretty consistent with that, and there's no denying that it'd go over with a lot more enthusiasm than it would have a month or three ago.

Not a good sign, Jerrah getting anxious and starting signing bad contracts again... wait tell the season is over...for both the players and coaches....let this play out.....Stephen needs to go hide Jerry's check book and all the pens at Valley Ranch.

I betcha Stephen is a bigger advocate for Jason than Jerry is.
