Got this on another board. Don't know if it's gospel, but the original poster is reliable from what I know. If this is, in fact, our schedule, it is laid out about as well in our favor as we could ask. After the opening two games, we never have to play back-to-back road games again. Also, the bye comes at a good time. :D

Our Dallas Cowboys 2006-2007 Schedule

Sept. 10 at Jacksonville
Sept. 18 at NY Giants (Monday Night)
Sept. 24 Detroit
Oct. 1 at Atlanta
Oct. 8 Indianapolis
Oct. 15 at Washington
Oct. 22 (Bye)
Oct. 30 Philadelphia (Monday Night)
Nov. 5 Houston
Nov. 12 at Carolina
Nov. 19 New Orleans
Nov. 23 Tampa Bay
Dec. 3 at Arizona
Dec. 10 NY Giants
Dec. 17 at Philadelphia
Dec. 24 Washington
Jan. 31 at Tennessee

assuming this schedule is correct , not to happy with 4 out of the first 6 on the road vs playoffs teams plus indy at home . we survive that early on 3-3 or 4-2 I like our chances.

We'll see. I saw another "schedule" that had us playing at Philly on Monday Night Football.

We certainly should beat Detroit (at home) and Tennessee. It is a tough schedule, but it certainly could have been laid out worse than it is.

Sorry if I sounded like I didn't believe you. I was just commenting on another
"schedule" I had seen.

What board did you get it from? Just curious.

No problem, Max. The original poster (Gryphon) has never been a sensationalist poster, so I believe him. Otherwise, I would not have posted it.

Gryphon posts here also. Why hasnt he bothered to post this here ?

Most likely it is a guess of what the schedule will be.

Also, I would be extremely surprised to not see the Cowboys play on Sunday Night (the premier night game), also no Saturday games in December.

Call me skeptical.

Call it what you like...the game times were not provided, so we cannot tell which games are night games at this point.

The other thing is I would be really surprised if our home opener is Detroit!!!
And, I would be surprised if we start out on the road for 2 weeks in a row.
Well, I guess we can all speculate. Schedule is due out next week. I guess we all will see.

I also doubt that the Giants play Sunday night and Monday night in back to back weeks.

It would be nice to switch the Tennessee and Indy games, play Indy the last game when they don't care anymore but I guess that would look cheap. Otherwise not bad if its real, and I think Sunday Night games on NBC are going to become the premium games.

Also nice to have NO between two tough games and Houston between two tough ones, no real cold weather games besides Philly and three divisional games near the end to decide things, the clumped NFC South games look weird.
