I do. I wouldn't think he would be suspended but for a few games. He did sit out all of last season. Isn't that punishment enough and the charges were dropped. Look the guy is a piece of crap for what he did but if Josh Brent is still on this team then why not with Hardy.

I agree. Just wanted to gauge other people's thoughts. Charles Haley, from what I heard from back in the day, was no saint either. I would think you have to risk it. Not going to be able to get anyone at our spot in the draft (unless we just got lucky) that can give immediate impact.

Even with the chance (likelihood?) of him being suspended, do ya'll think this is a must "go for it move" (one of the few impact free agents left)? Or is he just too much baggage?

I don't see it as a must move, but it obviously would improve our line and allow us not to have to strongly consider drafting an end in the first round. There are other get-by moves we could make to avoid that even if we don't get Hardy, but obviously this would be better than just getting by.

This whole story of reworking deals to free up 27mil in cap space must be bogus. No way
Stephen destroys a well planned financial strategy to sign a troubled player...
Not happening!
