Exactly. I'm tired of this expletive matchup to start dang near every season. Please let us play someone different to open for the next 5-10 years. Gee wiz

We play two Thursday night games in a row and likely a game a week before that. 3 games in an 11 day stretch...only us and it appears the Commanders will have to do that.

Sunday - Sunday - Thursday is 3 games in 11 days. I bet lots of teams play both weeks before their Thursday game. The Cowboys have had this stretch pretty much since they started on Thanksgiving. Now with TNF, most other teams do too.

If they didn't play two Thursdays in a row, then it's likely that they would have TWO stretches of 3 games in 11 days during the season.

I'll be glad to hear the "rookie" excuse gone...but im sure it'll be replaced with "only 2nd year!" next.
