RUMOR: Henson going to be traded for Jerry Porter/CLOSED

Henson looked good in the scrimmage, why didn’t he carry that over?
I don’t want to talk about it. When this whole thing is over we’ll have a long discussion about it. I’m not going to jeopardize what we got going here .

Here is the rumor from another board.

According to some Sources in Oakland and in Oxnard there is some discussion about Drew Henson and a 4th round pick to the Raiders for Jerry Porter.

Since Henson is being Shopped there is some logic to this. Parcells seems to be thinking ahead just incase Something goes wrong with T.O. Porter in the Average Football fans Eyes would be the #2 but in Dallas he would be a #3 unless he can impress BP.

Al Davis and Bill Parcells are long friends and since JJ trust BP it looks to be wright down the Alley.

I cant verify the truth of this, its a longshot but who knows. The talk today leads me to believe Henson is going to be traded, because BP wouldnt say he was going to be cut.

Henson to Oakland makes sense on many levels. I'd just be shocked to see us try to get Porter.
