I never mentioned anything about Rat being less of a player than Hampton - Ratliff IS better. But, he may be an even BETTER DE than NT for all we know. I'm sure he would be far superior to Spears. Secondly, I said for Hampton and a draft pick, not just Hampton. Did you not read that? Did I need to specify HIGH DRAFT PICK? Maybe YOU wouldn't do that deal, but I'm betting others would. Hell, CB Fan In DC said he wouldn't mind trading Roy, Spears, & Proctor for a damn rookie (Pouncey). But, yeah, I'm alone in this.

We do know he is a better DT than DE. How that is even a question for some, I have no idea. I think I will trust the coaches on this one.

Exactly. There probably aren't 3 other people on this forum who would agree to make such a stupid deal.

Despite the fact that the coaches have already made it clear that he's better at NT? Despite the fact that Ratliff has already made it clear that he likes NT and does not want to move to DE?

Maybe you don't know much about his situation here but that just means you weren't paying attention the million other times that subject came up.

And, yes, you're alone in this but it's not surprising that you haven't yet noticed that fact.

RUMOR I heard this evening on ESPN that the Cowboys are interested in trading Roy Williams to the Steelers for James Farrior. Thoughts? ESPN's Adam Shefter believes the deal is likely to happen in the next week

I can confirm that this trade makes no sense.
