What?

I would offer TNew heads up for Fitz.

Call them idiots before it is too late Mr. Jones

:lmao2: :banghead:

CBs are MUCH harder to find than WRs. See who are getting franchise tags?

Wouldn't trade a soon to be relic CB for an elite WR?

You people are certifiable.

Establish a dominate pass rush and you can use dime a dozens in your secondary.

Maybe even a schlub like Roy Williams.

The Giants proved that this year.

Right-even despite our MUCH improved pass-rush, Jacques Reeves all of a sudden looked like a Pro Bowler, right?

Nope-you still have to have the right personnel in the secondary to run your scheme. FYI-we were forced to play alot more zone with the injuries to T-New and Henry.

And BTW-the Giants' secondary was actually much improved this year with the addition of Ross, and the improved play of Webster.

Frankly I think the Cards would be stupid to accept only Lito for Fitz. Sorry, I know Lito is a good CB but Fitz is a top WR which no team should ever trade away/fail to sign. Cards can get a good CB in the draft and they also got plenty of cap space to keep Fitz.

I guess the Cardinals were courting Faneca and Faneca's agent said that being Fitzgerald had that mammoth of a contract and wasn't willing to re-negotiate it led to Faneca's disappointment in the leadership Fitzgerald had. Or else the Cardinals would have been a strong player in signing him. their O-Line does suck pretty bad.

i'm all for the cards getting a corner by trade... that means they probably won't draft one in round 1..... get my drift?

We have two #1 draft picks to pick a couple with......

Seriously, Fitz is young.....very young.

Talented......as he77.

It would be a steal for us and if you run a poll.....most Zoners would agree

we couldn't cover last year. why in the name of god would we give up the one player who CAN cover just so we can go shopping in the draft?

henry - old and hurt.
reeves - history

and now you want to trade newman?

stick to "good read" man. : )

I would in a heart beat trade Roy for Fitz, but to give away TNew would be down right stupid :laugh2:

Just another fan who wouldn't trade Newman for Fitz. Even though Newman is older, he played football late and doesn't have the wear and tear on him as someone his age would. And as long as he has his speed, he'll be fine.
