It isn't as if Sean Payton didn't know how to use Bush. I think the Saints did a great job of getting the most out of Bush as they could. They did probably better than what most teams would have been able to do. Reggie was in an ideal situation to get the most out of his skill set and after 5 years that was clearly not that much.

Reggie Bush is actually one of the more under rated players in the NFL right now. He's never really lived up to his hype, but much of the Saints' success is predicated on teams having to account for Bush every time he's in the game.

every team in the league should be interested in Reggie Bush. Granted he hasn't lived up to the hype, but he's still as dangerous in the open field as just about anybody.

1.He hasn't played football in 2 and a half years.

2.He will be 34 August 12th.

3.He has only hit the 1000 yard plateau 4 times in 9 seasons.

He is far from a dominant WR, and at this point he may not even be servicable.

I'd much rather them sign him, then get Holmes or someone else.

Not sure if you realize this but you never forget how to RUN or CATCH so him being 34 in 2 weeks means nothing.

He may not forget how to run, but he wasn't a burner to start with, so I'm sure he slowed down even more.

Catching isn't hard. Figuring out how to run routes in a new system, learning a new playbook, getting timing with your QB, and being in NFL condition is a lot tougher then you may think though.

Bush would be a nice complimentary piece but I wouldn't fear him.

I actually think Philly should target a physical runner.

you guys fear all the wrong players some times. What the heck was payton some slouch who cant get anything out of a RB in this league? has he worked with schmoos his whole career? No and Reggie Bush isnt going to light up the NFL any more than Clinton Portis did the day he became a Skin.

Some fans take other teams players and fear them like battle worn warrior gods. get over it Bush isnt that impressive and no system is going to make a player great if he doesnt want it more.

This. If the guy was half the player he was booked to be, he would have done much, MUCH better with the sort of powerhouse offense they've had since 2006 in New Orleans.

He just isn't any good.
