That being said, he was the greatest CB to ever play the game and helped us win our 3rd SB in 4 years

Big difference. Deion was not a cancer who fought with his teammates. Teammates loved Deion.

As for as FA's go, trick, I think this is all of 'em. :) I hope this is true, there are definitely some quality FAs this year who can fill some needs for this team.

From Playmaker at KFFL. FWIW...
OK, here is the short list of players that have been requested to come in for a visit. A couple of them will obviously have to wait to be released before they can schedule.

1) Adam Vinateari - Although the Patriots have increased their offer, he is still wanting to see what is out there for him.

2) LeCharles Bentley - Word is that he has scheduled 2 stops before us. Jacksonville and Philly

3) Antwan Randle El - He also has 2 stops before coming in, Philly and Washington

4) Jason Fabini - I have learned that he is in Dallas taking physicals right now

5) Ryan Longwell - He is a first stop for us, trying to schedule Saturday 3/11

6) Willie McGinest - He was released late last night and is going to be pursued by several others.

7) Chris Hope - He is almost assuredly to return to Pittsburgh, but will make the rounds.

*** I have also learned that if and when T.O gets released, his first stop will be to Dallas and expect us to push hard to sign him before he leaves.

I will try to update as players fall off and get added on. Please understand that these havent been confirmed scheduling, just scheduling requests. As I know more I will let you all know.

Looks like Christmas is coming early this year in Dallas, that's a wish lish for the ages!

However I do have to wonder, where's Ty Law and Jerald Sowell's names? They should be on that list as well.

They're on the "vastly overrated" stack. Hopefully someone else will sign em.

You didn't congratulate yourself enough yet. You won't even need Icy Hot for that patting yourself on the back post. Do it right, or don't do it at all.

:wink2:

Sorry Hos. I haven't reached the level you have, what with your 21,000+ posts.

You know, I don't know what my opinion is about us signing TO. He's obviously a sh** head, but at least he can play ball.

He is a game-changing WR whether its by commanding a double team and freeing up Glenn, or catching a 5 yard pass and running it 75 more yards to the house. Some a**hole WRs (A. Bryant) have bad attitudes and are inconsistant. At least TO can make plays! If we sign him...great. If not, great!

Bentley is the number one guy on my wish list, and if nothing else, I just want us to keep him away from the Eagles, too.

I don't think Law is coming here anyway, but I'm all for signing Sowell. He's definitely an upgrade over polite (not that I have given up on him personally) and can catch the football. He is a rock solid blocker as well.

When you're ugly or bald, that's when you hit the weights to compensate for shortcomings.
