RUMOR: Possibly Shaub at QB, Vick at RB

I guess on NFL live they were talking about Atlanta possibly having Shaub start at QB and Vick at RB(or just for some plays) if Dunn and Norwood both can't go. Once again this is just a rumor.

Vick could not be a RB in a week or two. You need to have a few season to transform yourself. He is a slender QB right now. He wouldnt work as a RB right now.

reggie bush is so much quicker than vick is I am not worried about him as a RB. Bush made that cut back across our two guys into the end zone at full speed that was very impressive. Vick is a hell of a runner but I don't think he is that quick. God I hope I am right if this rumor come true.

Atlant coudl run a two qb set out of the shotgun and be scary as heck from a defense stand point. Not knowing which would get the ball on which play would be very very tricky.

No to mention the fact that ATL is also fighting for a playoff spot. This is no time for them to start experimenting and totally blow their chances to make it. It's not happening.

Are you sure it was not a joke instead of a rumor? Wingo, Salisbury and Hodge are not funny, but they all particularly Wingo try to make jokes... I missed this part of the show but I seriously doubt those three came up with the "rumor" and one of them were probably joking.

if vick does this we will destroy them...what makes mike vick is good is the fact that you dont know if he will run and when he does he is fast enough to burn you...but if you know he is running...thats a different story when 8 guys are coming after you...that would be the stupidest thing they have ever done!

We Falcons fans wish we had an audible. Knapp doesn't use audibles in his offense. The only audible we have is Vick refusing to throw the deep bomb on 4th and 1 (or 3rd and inches) and running it himself, making Knapp look like a genius.

O.k, I take back what I said... It still won't happen, but Mortensen did report that there was talk about Vick lining up behind Shuab at RB. Take that FWIW...
