Price is getting far less reps than Crayton was getting.

Correction -- Price is EARNING far less reps that Crayton was

Given the reference to pay material I'd say The Ranch Report, so no.

Just to be clear - this came from a thread over at the Ranch -- not from the pay stuff which may say something different. One of the posters claimed to hear Jerry on the radio saying they hoped to have Crayton back by the Philly game.

Take it for what its worth -- an unverified rumor.

we have gone a lot more 2 TE sets and conservative planning especially in Seattle. They even had Glenn out in some 1 WR sets.

Crayton plays Philly thats a medical miracle. Win, Win

It doesn't matter if Price is contributing on Special teams. I think if Crayton comes back, Price won't be doing much again. Copper contributes alot more on special teams than Price does. Copper has had a few great games making some good tackles on returns, while Price has only returned punts and he's done an OK job.

Still with Crayton returning from an injury they are not going to want to overwork him the first few games so Price will be dressing to return those punts. Whether or not he gets into a game as a receiver is another story. I'd say they will still give him his one catch per game and maybe he will get more than 4 yards out of one.

Right, so it wasn't Sam Kinison's board.

I'm such a detective.

I think Crayton adds more to our passing attack than Price does but to be fair to Price I think BP and Sean have not really called plays to really get Price involved as a weapon in the offense.

That being said Price looks pretty good at punt return and givng the way Crayton holds the ball on those returns I hope they continue to let Price return punts even after Crayton comes back.

Price really doesn't look that comfortable to me on punt returns. I think he's doing it only because he has to. Crayton looked very comfortable on returns and seems to thrive on it.

Crayton comes back......we are SOOOOOO much better on 3rd downs.....just ask Bledsoe!

For the record -- I really thought Price would add something to our offense. But now I am totally convinced that Crayton is a much better option for us.
Especially given his role as a utility player-- teams aren't expecting him to beat them yet he does. Peerless Price is another story altogether because you have to respect his speed. Of course, BP considers TG the "speed receiver" and he'd never consider using two such players at the same time...

As Bungarian said, no need to rush him back. He may be ready to play by then, but not now, and that means he will not be practicing. The game plans are in for the Eagles game, or the most part is. So that will be planned with Price in there, as he will be practicing. And we know BP's rule on that.

I think we may see Crayton for Thanksgiving, but not against Detroit, or maybe a little to see how he does. However, I wouldn't be surprised in it's not until after Thanksgiving Day game either.

Only my opinion, because we do not get the entire story on injured players and their recoveries.
