The NFL Draft for the Dallas Cowboys could get very interesting Thursday night.

The 'Boys own the No. 4 overall pick and appear content with staying put, something owner/GM Jerry Jones announced during a pre-draft press conferece earlier this week. However, the No. 34 overall pick could be used to move up in the draft and according to 105.3 The Fan's Ben Rogers, the 'Boys are looking to acquire a second first-round pick.

Do something to make better use of those extra (garbage) 6th round picks.

How can they "aggressively" be trying to move back into the first without knowing who will be there where they want to trade up?

I can't see Paxton Lynch getting past the Jets at 20 so I doubt they get him. However, if they can grab Ezekiel Elliott at 4, then trade back and get Sheldon Rankins or even Shaq Lawson (who could slide farther than many think), it'd be a successful draft even if it costs them a 2nd and 4th and maybe a 2017 pick.

Jets supposedly want to trade out and according to Broaddus we were involved in some way. Its an older story so I dont quite remember the details

Okay Jets, we give you picks 34 and 101 and a 2017 second rounder, you give us pick 20 and Muhammed Wilkerson. I'd take the deal!

Well they're now saying Lynch isn't getting passed SF. So he's out of the question.

Now I'm wondering if Dallas trades down from 4. The Bears "love" Zeke Elliott. If Dallas can get the 11 and 41 picks from Chicago, I would have no problem with them swapping 34 and 67 for another 1st. That's two firsts and they still have a relatively high 2nd.

If Lynch is there at the end of round 1, or a pass rusher is there, I have no problem with this.

If you believe Fish, they have no plans on moving down. They are going to let what happens at #3 dictate who they pick. If SD takes Ramseys or trades down and someone takes Ramsey, they are taking Elliott. If Ramsey is there, they take Ramsey

I hope he is wrong because in this draft, if the phone is ringing you need to awnser it

It better be for Lynch.

However, I feel Dallas should entertain the opportunity of trading down with Tennessee (if the Tits want to do that). Acquire more picks and trade down.
